"Fishers Of Men"
This is a bible-inspired “working sculpture” paperweight. As a rule, I do not paint my rocks. But I made an exception for this piece. I hand-lettered an inscription on the side of the main rock that says: “Follow me, I will make you fishers of men!” My son. Gabriel collected these rocks on his trip to Scotland. This original piece is not available but I do commission custom made assemblage sculptures with rocks from any region. Contact me!

Father and Child (Sun filled)
This was one of my first found-object expressionist stone collages. It is in excellent condition for its “vintageness”. This piece was composed with river rocks that my kids helped me find at the mighty Beaver kill river in Roscoe , NY way back when. It is a rather heavy picture and measures 14 ½ x 21

Maestro De Ceremonias (Master Of Ceremonies)
Rocks and pebbles from NY and New Jersey beaches. The inspiration for this Impressionist Collage was an old family photo my Mom had of my older brother, Anibal- looking dapper in a tux. He was my idol!. (Not available).

“Sonata (de armonia universal)”
another retrospective gem from when I would draw my subjects with charcoal pencil, then proceed to place “pointillist dot” pebbles in their respective locations. Now Available As Prints.

"Aquifer Acrobatics"
20 ½ x 18 ¼ Stones and pebbles from Puerto Rico and Florida join to rock this Silver Springs (glass-bottom) scene. This original collage is available. Prints are also available.

“The Clerk Dude”
A long-lost friend. This work marked the beginning of a sparser use of rocks, a decision to work with fewer elements (resulting later in the creation of many 3-rock assemblages I call “Trinity Sculptures”)

"Luquillo Pen Caddy"
One of my favorite “fluid natural” working sculptures - I found the components (made by God) on a Puerto Rico beach. My task was to envision it as a sculpture on someone’s desk.

"El Pilon"
Assemblage sculpture using stones found by my grandsons in the hills of Imperial, Missouri. This is a four-piece Working Sculpture Paper Weight.

Rock Caddies
More-elaborately developed working sculptures, made using stones from New York, New Jersey, Texas and Puerto Rico.

"Memories of Lake Sebago"
Really pretty rocks, each brilliant individually, each displaying its own color, texture, and character... decided to don fish disguises and collectively party one day at Sebago! The only added color is the stain of the wood.

“Remembering Juniper Springs”.
This Stone/Wood Collage commemorates my family’s first visit to a lazy river in Florida. Although many of these stones are from NY state, it includes some stones found in Dunnellon and Ocala, Florida. Prints are available.

Lake Welch Way Back When
Using stones taken from Lake Welch in NY State. This also indulged my new austere attitude- fewer rock elements… more expression.

Angels
The background on this piece is from a scene I painted as a teenager of the sky on a long night flight. I substituted the girl’s face in the middle of the sky with these Amgel Fish.

"Meal Chase On The Wallkill River"
My family and I “caught” most of the elements used in this collage during our hikes along the banks of the Wallkill near Ward’s Bridge in Montgomery, NY. This is a tribute to those nice memories. Prints are available.

At Dunn's Pond
This picture sort of provides a snapshot of what my children and their pals likely encountered back at Dunn’s* colorful vibrant banks. It was they who hand picked these rocks and lovingly brought them to me for “Dad’s collection”. Anyone who views this picture who doesn’t know anything about Montgomery, NY is welcome to substitute their own creek or pond memories – because I know that those are the good old clear-blue-sky days that we all have in common. (Not available).
*Dunn’s Pond no longer exists. It was drained and built over like so many other places in the name of “progress”

Swirl Dance At Rainbow
This Expressionist Collage’s story takes place in Florida, but with rocks from Puerto Rico, Texas and NY State. It tells about a strange experience at the river.

"Wallkill River Snapshot" 14 x 11
Composed onto a canvas of exotic wood. Each rock in this piece individually displays its own beauty, and yet collectively they tell a certain story. I hope that goes for all the stones in my assemblages.

“Tumble Opus”.
This is an early study on which I tried using smooth, tumbled stones- on barn wood. I didn’t like it at first, but other people seem to love it.
